          Notes:

  • Stock is subject to availablility , and by prior arrangement with the owners.

  • The digging season is normally October to March, however reservations may be made outwith this period, subject to a 50% deposit

  • The above is purely a guide to the ever-changing stock,
so that each tree is priced on an individual basis.

  • Trees have been uncut numerous times over many years to generate maximum fibrous root, thus providing excellent recovery from the repotting process, however....

  •  Customers must accept full responsibility for:
the aftercare and reestablishment of newly-lifted self-dig field stock, see below:

Recommended aftercare procedure

  • Newly lifted stock should be potted in Bonsai Compost "Basic Mix",
    retaining maximum fibrous root.

  • Anchor the tree into the pot securely with wire, then drench with "superthrive"

  • Protect in a cold greenhouse until spring and water regularly but with care

  • Gradually "harden-off", i.e. gradually increase levels of light, air and fertiliser,
and for the rest of the year focus on root development,
resisting the temptation of premature styling until well established in the pot.
